The Clinic's 5th Annual Golf Charity Classic
On Saturday August 16th, The Clinic Marijuana Center held it’s 5th Annual Clinic Charity Classic at Denver’s City Park golf course which featured more than 250 golfers, 25 corporate sponsors and approximately 100 volunteers, all brought together with a goal of raising awareness and funding for the MS Society.
“2014 has been our best fundraising year yet for the National MS Society,” said Ryan Cook, general manager of The Clinic, “and we look forward to increasing our goal and contribution next year. The idea that competing companies within our industry can come together for the good of the community really shows what a spectacular event the Clinic Charity Classic has become.”
The Clinic opened its first medical marijuana center in November 2009 and prior to this year had raised more than $100,000 for the National MS Society. In 2014 The Clinic now adds an additional $80,000 to towards funding research and multiple sclerosis patient assistance programs.
